Pack It In

It's that time again! The Capital Area Council and Goodwill industries have once again joined together for a clothing drive to benefit Goodwill in providing job training and provide scouts an opportunity to do some community service. Participating scouts learn a valuables lesson of helping others less fortunate, earn a specially designed Good Turn patch (for collecting 5 filled bags) and help promote the mission of the Goodwill Industries in our community.

To help the Cubs with getting clothing donations, I have created a flyer they can use. Print this out, and pass the flyer out to people that will be gathering items to donate for pick-up at a later time. Put the date you will come back by to pick up the bags of clothing and make copies of it. Leave it with the people you ask for donations from, as a reminder of when you will be back by to pick up their clothing donation.
